I'm setting up my first PC this year and need advice on selecting a CPU. I'm leaning toward Ryzen but unsure which model to pick for a gaming or streaming setup. I've looked at the 3700X, 3900X, and 3950X lines, but I'm not confident about the best choice. I want strong frame rates while keeping high-quality streaming stable without any drops.
It depends on your budget. All options work well for streaming. If you can afford the 3900x, why not? It’s unclear how much better it is compared to the 3950x or the cost savings. However, the 3700x I own and when streaming Red Dead Redemption 2, my CPU usage remains very low.
You have a substantial budget of 3500, but you're unsure which game to invest in since you primarily play Cod and Rainbow while streaming. Consider what aspects matter most to you—playtime, graphics, performance, or community support. This will help narrow down your choice.
Really, spending 3500 dollars on a new PC is quite a lot. Consider upgrading to something like the 2080ti and 3950x.
We need 3600 minimum. Even 3300x works, as shown by a major tech YouTuber. That’s your key target—then proceed. Also, if possible, wait for the next-gen Ryzen. Most important is getting an NVIDIA GPU with superior hardware and video encoding capabilities.
