Hello!
I’m planning to assemble a new PC for winter gaming, and currently I spend about 90% of my time playing CS2. The remaining 10% is for lighter titles like BF1, GTA V, and Battlefield 2.
I was considering the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, but since I’m running a 4:3 resolution at 1280x960, I think I should focus more on the CPU. I don’t want to dive into modern AAA titles like Starfield.
The 6650xt seems suitable for me because 1080p 8GB of VRAM is sufficient, especially for esports, and I’m not planning higher resolutions. My 10105f struggles to maintain 144fps consistently, so upgrading is necessary. I’d like to match it with a 240Hz 1080p monitor.
Anyone who uses the same CPU or plays CS2 might find these specs capable of sustaining 240+ fps. I’ve seen benchmark results for the 1660Super, so I’m confident the 6650xt can handle it.
Thanks in advance!

I believe this would make a good pairing for your game titles. The RX 7600 is about the same cost as well.

The settings you use for CS2 will depend on the specific configuration you choose. To maintain a minimum of 240 FPS at 1080p, you may need to upgrade to more costly components based on your desired in-game performance.

Sorry for the delayed response, I was at work. The 16 gb rx 7600xt and the rx 6750xt 12 gb are about the same price in my country, with the 7600xt being 15-20 dollars cheaper. They still fit within my budget, would these two work well with my Ryzen 7 5700x3d? I think they could handle some games at 1440p. Or is there a decent alternative in that price range? Thanks!

Thanks for the details! I would set it to 4:3 resolution, like 1280x960, 1024x728, and stick to a maximum of 1440x1080. It should work in competitive settings, almost at the lowest levels, around 240. From the videos I've seen with the 1660 super, FPS usually stayed under 280. So I think 6750xt or 7600xt would be acceptable.

After checking some reviews, it's evident the 6750xt performs better than the 7600xt, despite being slightly pricier.
