Hey there, I’m facing a frustrating issue lately. Based on your setup: GPU – RTX 2070, CPU – Ryzen 7 2700X, RAM – 2x8 GB DDR4 at 3200 MHz with water cooling and multiple fans, 240Hz monitor using HDMI cables, 500GB Samsung SSD, X470 AM4 motherboard. In every game I’m consistently getting low FPS. It seems my RAM is always limited to around 50% usage, while the GPU only reaches about 40% at its peak. The CPU sometimes handles more load. I’ve tried numerous fixes so far, but nothing worked. Please help me, really. Thanks, Jakob.

Checking which applications are consuming the most RAM in Task Manager. Or confirming if the usage stays below 50%.

So the programs don't consume too much RAM. When I play a game, I won't exceed more than 50% usage inside the game itself. This happens only during games and rendering tasks. My GPU stats show 100% usage while RAM stays well above 50%. That's not surprising. What I've tried so far: updating everything from BIOS to graphics card, changing DOCP in BIOS from 2133MHz to 3200MHz, adjusting global settings in NVIDIA control panel to boost performance, doing a clean install with no leftover files, running in single-core mode, and overclocking but resetting it. That's not a problem.

It seems there might be a problem with your graphics card. Could you clarify the exact frame rate you're experiencing?

During that test, his GPU was at full capacity, RAM usage exceeded 50%, and his CPU was running between 70-80%. Later, he performed a CPU test at the same time and things changed dramatically—GPU usage dropped from 100% to 40% in just one second, while the CPU hit 100%. He suspects the PSU might be faulty and plans to check it today. Sincerely, Jakob
