CPU Fan Error.
CPU Fan Error.
Hey everyone, I'm still dealing with this confusing CPU fan error that seems to have no explanation. It first happened when I moved my PC to the living room for two weeks, and the error popped up then. After replacing the thermal paste and restarting in the living room, it worked fine. But yesterday it came back again, even after changing the thermal paste without success. The BIOS temperature spikes a lot, making me think the cooling system isn't functioning properly. My setup includes an H110i GTX liquid cooler, an ASUS Rampage V Mobo, and a 5960X CPU. The radiator fans spin on startup too, but my machine started making strange noises right after this error occurred during startup. Although I thought the cooling unit might be faulty, it seemed to work again after the paste change. It happened yesterday after I connected my PS4, so maybe something about the sockets in my house is involved? Thanks for any help I can get—I really need my PC to function correctly now.
It seems like you want a rephrased version of the previous statement.
"Perhaps you should consider swapping out the pump."
