Hi everyone, I’m dealing with some issues on my PC lately. It has the following specifications: ASRock Z77 Pro 3, 10 GB RAM (DDR3-1600 MHz), 2 GB (1060 MHz), and an Intel i7-2600GX 4 GB. The problem begins when I play videos or run games—my PC shuts down suddenly. When I try to restart, the CPU fan turns on after about 5 seconds, then stops. I thought it was my cooler not fitting properly because the motherboard doesn’t have the right holes for those screws. So I replaced it with an Intel stock cooler and cleaned the slots, but the issue still occurs frequently when playing games. The RAM seems to be the main culprit, yet I can’t figure out what else to do.

You're also assuming the RAM is being matched to two different specifications, should you skip the 2GB module and test it out.

I attempted using just a 2GB stick and an 8GB stick, but it still won’t power on.
