I assembled my initial computer and it functions properly overall, though it experiences occasional crashes when XMP is activated during startup. The CPU heats up and the DRAM indicator flashes every boot. I’ve checked numerous solutions in online forums, but the issue persists. My system specs include an MSI Tomahawk B650, Wi-Fi, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Corsair Vengeance 6800 MHz, Nvidia 4070 Ti from Gigabyte, WindForce OC 12 power supply, and EVGA 850 GQ Gold display. I’ve updated the BIOS to the latest version. If anyone has advice, I appreciate it ahead of time.
It doesn't cause issues when XMP is disabled. This seems like a case for the Corsairs. AM5 and Corsair don't always work well together. If you have time before returning, consider swapping in G. Skill 6000CL30 RAM. The 6800 chip isn't typically stable with AM5.
