You're considering an i7-12700. It compares favorably to both the F and K variants, as well as the i5-13500. With your needs being creative work and medium gaming, this processor should perform well. The 1650 GPU supports high-end graphics, making it suitable for demanding creative tasks.

Version updates lack an integrated GPU, meaning they need a dedicated GPU for display. Version k offers overclocking potential at 13500 MHz but with fewer cores—though it provides more P-cores and threads compared to version 12700. Have you considered AMD options? Have you already purchased the motherboard? If not, would you appreciate some guidance? What is your budget?

I haven’t made any purchases yet, but there’s a chance the GPU could be given to me for 70 USD by a cousin. They advised against buying an AMD for creative projects, though a bit of assistance would be welcome. My total budget for the complete build is 650 USD.

It varies based on the type of creative project you have in mind. Some Intel models excel in certain areas while AMD performs similarly in others. If you clarify what you mean by creative work, we can verify whether Intel is the optimal option for your needs. The right choice will depend on your specific requirements, such as RAM needs or other specifications.
