I can't reliably comment on the 200t , ivebused the old 200 but that was only a 92mm model & is no comparison.
I have used both the gammaxx 300 & the s40 & they're both sterling budget 120mm towers (think 55c under full load on a 125w fx 8 core )
The 200t uses the exact same fan , it very very slim though, its surface area is 2/3 of the 300 though so its going to run hotter.
Still looks decent though but the 300 is better.
Do you consider a 2 minute fit,pre-applied paste & stock Intel push-pin fittings a bonus or not ?? (Some do some don't)
If you do it makes any of the gammaxx coolers a no-brainer really.

I understand what the 200t is currently, they've modified the old 200 92mm tower and built a 120mm fan with 92mm mounts to fit it.
I'm still unsure about this setup.
Is the 300 price too high?

I understand what the 200t is now. They've replaced the old 200 92mm tower with a custom-made 120mm fan using 92mm mounts to fit it.
I'm not sure about that one anymore, honestly.
Is the 300 over budget?

It seems better to go with the 200t, then match it up, as it's definitely superior to the t2 or freezer 7 you mentioned first.

It seems you're considering going with the 200t model, as it's likely to perform better than the t2 or freezer 7 you mentioned first. The 300 might offer a better overclock, and if so, you could save some time doing small tasks around the house to earn extra money for the cooler.
