CPU cooler at 1500 RPM safe ?

Typically, my CPU cooler operates at 900-1000 RPM when using one or two apps, but it spikes to 1500-1570 RPM during gaming. My RYZEN 5 3600 is paired with a BE QUIET Shadow Rock LP cooler, which claims a maximum of 1500 RPM. I checked the cooler specs and it says up to 80,000 hours of life. My concern is whether running it at full capacity during games will harm its longevity.

Check if it operates at a higher setting and ask for baseline temperatures when the fan isn’t running fast.

Operating around 36-37°C when idle, reaching up to 68°C during gaming. The temperature fluctuates between 36 and 58°C before settling back down. This behavior is typical for RYZEN CPUs.

Operating at full RPM doesn’t harm the runner at all—they can keep going for years this way. The speed ratings usually vary by about 10%, so 1570 remains within the acceptable range.

It’s clear you’ve been using it for quite some time. I only kept it because it performed well with my older CPU and stayed reliable even after upgrading about a year and a half ago.

I'm considering getting a BE QUIET Dark Rock 4 later. I have a few questions about applying thermal paste to the CPU. How much should I use? Should I spread it evenly or just a little? I've seen different methods suggested—some recommend a pea-sized amount, others suggest spreading it in a cross pattern, and some even mention diagonal application. What is the best approach and how much paste is truly needed?
