It will run with the 1200 (AF) setup. The manufacturer lists YD1200BBM4KAF but doesn't mention YD1200BBM4KAF specifically.

The .bss file format is similar to .bin but contains raw BIOS data. You don’t need to convert it unless you want a standard file type for compatibility.
