I'm attempting to swap out a faulty Asus Prime B250M-A motherboard for an Asus H110-PLUS ATX LGA 1151 model found on eBay. The bigger size is acceptable, but I need to verify if the new processor will fit. The motherboard details state "Core i5-6400 (2.7GHz, 4C, L3:6M, GT2, 65W, rev.R0)", while the old board lists "Core I5-6400 SR2L7 2.7GHZ X651C583 e4". Could you clarify what those specifications mean?

H110-PLUS - Support

So long as your BIOS is version 0204, you can install the processor into the socket and enhance your system's capabilities. Be aware you'll need to reinstall the operating system after replacing the motherboard.

Thanks for the update. I reviewed the link you provided, but the details about "4C, L3:6M, GT2, 65W, rev.R0" at the end of the CPU spec didn't seem relevant to me. I wasn't sure what it meant or how important it was.

These are the CPU details.
Four processing units,
Six megabytes of L3 memory,
Power consumption of 65 watts.
Regarding the GT2 and revision R0, I'm not certain.
