CPU BIOS overheat
Hello, your CPU is reporting unusually high idle temperatures while the motherboard remains stable. The Arctic AIO cooling setup seems properly connected and functioning. Despite using a clean fan and verified BIOS settings, the temperatures spike to 76-79°C at rest and up to 90°C during intensive tasks like Cinebench. Since normal browsing stays around 55°C, it suggests a potential issue with the CPU itself or the cooling system under load. I recommend checking the thermal paste, ensuring proper fan alignment, and verifying that the CPU cooler is securely mounted. If problems persist, consider testing with a different cooler or consulting AMD support for BIOS-specific diagnostics.
Connect to the CPU_FAN header. Your cooler doesn't provide a dedicated pump header for the "pump" connector.
It was there earlier with a different CPU that I had used, and it functioned perfectly. Perhaps the fan header changed, and I noticed another cable from the pump going into a fan controller in the back of my case, which wasn’t properly connected to the motherboard. The controller sends power through two headers.
