cpu benchmark
you're looking to push your CPU to its highest temperatures to check performance. currently it's running between 28-31°C with a max of 39-42°C, and you've fine-tuned the fan curve. you plan to run it for 5-10 minutes or more to see what happens. since you don't have a GPU yet (except an IG-PUGA), it won't be useful for GPU testing. it might not be worth trying CPU-heavy apps that can auto-reload.
77 is acceptable, and like I said this stress test is beyond real world use. You are likely fine!
i'm working with a phanteks p600s setup featuring 6 140 mm noctua nh-a14 fans and a corsair commander pro fan controller. the case panels remain on, hoping to maintain performance even during high load—temperatures are still manageable but not ideal. i haven't installed a GPU yet, which helps keep things cooler initially. i also have a hx850i from corsair and a corsair vengeance lpx 3200 mhz with two 16gb ram modules, plus a samsung 1 tb 970 evo plus nvme drive.
You will be all good, yes the GPU ads heats but Prime95 is no sissy stress test.
I don’t have a GPU either. Coming from a poor desktop is already a big improvement, even without one!
