Usually this happens since it falls inside the board's standard limits by default, or because the software's measurement is close to the expected range.

Software is consistently showing 5088mhz and bclk 99.8. It seems odd that this is happening. Is there a method to raise it to 100?

You could try a BIOS/EFI setting to set it to 100Mhz. My system supports that feature.

There is always a bit of variation in these measurements. If software displays a perfect number, it’s often due to rounding rather than an exact performance figure. The same applies to CPU speeds—take my server now, and it shows: cpu MHz : 803.059 cpu MHz : 3879.240 cpu MHz : 2500.000 cpu MHz : 4200.042 cpu MHz : 2500.000 cpu MHz : 2500.000 cpu MHz : 3372.673 cpu MHz : 2500.000 cpu MHz : 3808.966 cpu MHz. My desktop behaves even more unpredictably: cpu MHz : 4591.736 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 4550.526 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 4600.000 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 4533.625 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 4566.402 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 4583.203 cpu MHz : 4531.658 cpu MHz : 4570.018 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 3600.239 cpu MHz : 2100.000 cpu MHz : 3456.591 These values are displayed on Linux, showing more precise data.
