I bought this PC from ABS a few days back. I needed to check the temperatures while it was under load, and it was running at 98°C. After turning it off, I found the AIO water cooler had no flow in the BIOS and decided to switch it from CPU_OPT to CPU_FAN after some online discussions. Now I can see the flow in the BIOS, but it's still quite hot. With these specifications, would this temperature be typical? Please note it came with the I9 10900KF instead of the I9 10900K.
Check for issues at 100 degrees. Start by looking at the thermal paste between the CPU and AIO.
Upgrading the cooler is a smart move to avoid the issues with the existing AIO setup.
Reach out to the manufacturer and inform them about the problem
They didn’t answer the phone. I reached out several times after discovering they had misled me with an incorrect CPU.

I've never seen that model before... I wouldn't rely on it. Even the Corsair version hasn't gotten much better over the years. This one seems to have a tiny cold plate, a dubious pump, and very thin lines. It doesn't generate enough heat output. If the radiator isn't circulating warm air at the core temperatures, the unit is definitely not functioning properly.
Yeah, It's a really shitty situation. I got scammed by getting a KF instead of a K. I also replaced the ram with 32 GB of 3600 MHZ. And now its running super hot. I contacted newegg support on twitter about getting the wrong CPU and they said that i would have to return it. I really don't want to go that long without a PC so im just trying to fix it without sending it back.
