Your Intel Xeon e3 1245 v1 with DDR3 unbuffered ECC RAM should fit on a used DH67BL motherboard. The ECC type doesn’t affect compatibility as long as the board supports it.

You require a C2XX chipset motherboard to access ECC memory. A standard desktop board doesn’t support it. It might function in non-ECC mode, though I’m uncertain.

The E3 1245 V2 works but not the V1. Here are your motherboard choices: E DIT https://pcpartpicker.com/products/mother...,51,52&L=3 X79 isn't compatible with Xeon E3's

I realize now it's not x79, which is why I'm adjusting it. It seems V1 and V2 used the same socket and chipset. You won't locate the motherboard on pcpartpicker—it's outdated, no new options available. The best choice would be eBay or AliExpress.
