CPU and RAM debug lights for MSI Pro B650M-A with Wi-Fi setup
I just began my first build from scratch using MSI Pro B650M-A with WiFi, MSI RTX 4070 ti, Ti Super Ryzen 7 9700X, 32 GB G.SKILL Trident Z5, MSI MAG A 750 GL PCIe 5.0, 750W PSU. After assembling everything and plugging it in, I tried to boot but there was no display or startup. I verified the CPU and DRAM EZ Debug lights were on red and orange. I searched online, re-seated the RAM, checked the CPU pins for damage, tested the GPU, shorted the CMOS, and confirmed the power cable was connected properly—even tried a different cable. Nothing changed my experience. From what I’ve found, it likely points to a motherboard issue. I’ve already opened a support ticket with MSI but wanted to share this here for additional insight.
Training memory can be gradual on an AMD-powered motherboard. A blank display on a fresh setup is typical. Allow some time and give it a rest. Visibility may appear in 5 to 15 minutes.
