Your system supports both PCIe 3 and 4 M.2 slots, so even though your i7-10700K doesn’t have PCIe 4 support, you can still use the M.2 slots with PCIe 4 devices.

10th generation models don't include PCI-e lanes for storage. The highest M2 port works only with an 11th generation CPU since it connects directly to the processor. Other M2 ports use the chipset and support PCI-e3.0, making them compatible with both 10th and 11th gen systems.
