Hey everyone, I'm putting together these thoughts because I really need your feedback on how my rig performs in Battlefield 1. My setup includes an i7-6700k CPU that's overclocked to 4.5 GHz, an ASUS GTX 1080 OC edition, Corsair Dominator DDR4 16GB (two 8GB sticks), a 27-inch Asus Predator IPS W QHD monitor at 144 Hz with G-Sync, and I run Battlefield 1 in DX11 Ultra settings. I use MSI Afterburner to keep an eye on CPU, GPU, and RAM stats. My numbers usually stay around certain ranges—CPU temps between 65° and 75° at about 55-66% usage, RAM sits near 8-9 GB, and the GPU stays stable between 1947-1974 MHz with no overheating beyond 72° at full fan speed.

What really caught my attention is how my FPS holds up in CONQUEST mode, especially when playing 32 vs 32. I often see others posting much higher benchmarks with similar gear, or even with a 1070 getting results just as good—or better—than mine. It’s confusing! Do you think there might be something I’m missing about my setup? Are there any components that aren’t reaching their full potential? Any insights would be super helpful!

I compare my results with other games and benchmarks of similar systems. Performance isn’t necessarily lower than expected, but it depends on the specifics. I’ve ensured a clean driver installation before testing.

drivers are current. I play Assetto Corsa and achieve about 120-130 fps, similar to project cars. I often search online for Battlefield 1 benchmarks using the same settings as mine. Sometimes I see others with better results, but I wonder if they all report the same FPS category—like Campaign or Conquest—or if they post different numbers.

you can also try a few tricks to boost your frame rate, such as adjusting 3D settings in the control panel and prioritizing performance over quality. I remember this worked during old 3D Mark tests—though I haven’t done it in years. Disabling antialiasing but keeping it on in the game could help you appear to earn higher scores than you actually did. Differences like 16-bit versus 32-bit colors might also play a role. Many people push themselves to rank high for bragging rights, but if most of your setup is similar, you probably won’t need to worry about it.
