Hi,
I'm having issues with my i7-8700, which fluctuates between 3.4ghz and 3.8ghz. In a CPU-based game like Rust, I only manage around 60fps even with lower settings, while others get much better performance. The frequency keeps changing and isn't stuck at its normal 3.2ghz. Can you help me figure out what's going on?

Initially it seems to be within normal parameters.
It might be due to the fact you're using a 1050ti.
You're seeing the frame rate we expect from that GPU, apparently.

The device is set to a fixed speed of 3.48ghz and maintains 60 frames per second even for users with comparable builds, achieving at least 100 fps under certain conditions.

And you've completed the regular driver updates and DDU once it's installed?
It could also work with Vsync. Just enable it in the game or the control settings.

I completed the DDU and applied the nvidia drivers, which worked fine.

I own a prime z370-a motherboard, but when trying to install the drivers it reported compatibility issues with Windows.

And you're certain Vsync isn't turned on in either the game or the control settings?

I checked the nvida control panel and it's turned off. Vsync was never enabled.
