I’d look for game benchmarks that compare the two and determine if the extra boost from single-core performance in the 11th gen is beneficial for your gaming preferences.
It looks like affordable Intel processors are becoming scarce. Unless you're willing to spend less than $200, the 5600x seems like a better choice.
