CP2077
CP2077
I finally began playing Cyberpunk 2077 last night. I bought it on the original release date, but because of persistent performance problems, it’s been gathering dust in my GoG library. I never actually played it before.
For those who have tried… how did you find the game overall?
I’m really impressed so far, especially during the first few hours. The graphics are amazing and I hope the story matches that. It has a feel similar to GTA. I also learned there’s an expansion and sequel planned, which is why I wanted to start now.
I never bought this game though due to reasons I will mention afterwards, but can this game run on Intel Core i7 4790's igpu ? The I
ntel HD Graphics 4600.
😀
😀
How many FPS can I get, since I'm GPU-less since past 2 weeks.
But the graphics are really good though !
Btw, I think there is no ETA on the Game's sequel/DLC.

No worries man. To answer question… probably not all that well.
I’m not worried about waiting for the DLC… I don’t have enough time as it is to do all the gaming I try to do.
Diablo 4 has already been purchased and I am really considering SnowRunner… that sim looks amazing.
My opinion is similar to GTA as well. I don’t care about the fighting or shooting mechanics at all. The main issue for me is that missions can’t be completed without many distractions (phone calls) and side quests that try to pull you away from the main story. The game isn’t overly long if you focus strictly on the plot and just the side tasks. Apart from that, it becomes quite challenging in terms of riding, and riding keeps on being a challenge.
The game appears visually appealing when your system supports it. It serves well as a reference point for comparing performance over time, except for optimization improvements. I personally don’t enjoy playing it.
Thanks for the input! I’ve been playing GTAV regularly but don’t feel like revisiting it. RDR2 has a bit of time left and I’m planning to return, maybe adding some CP2077 along the way. I enjoy open world experiences, so we’ll see what comes next. So many games… but not enough time.
I'm derailing it some more... I finally got around to setting up OBS with my mic... etc.. and recorded some test footage of Forza Horizon 5 on max settings. It looks out of this world amazing and the PC (obviously) had no problems running the game and the streaming setup at the same time.
Once I get through my testing/learning phase I'll post some videos and share.
LOL, I've been on a bit of a shopping trip lately. Forza... SnowRunner... Diablo 4 and Street Fighter 6 (both coming out today, with D4 as early access) and also grabbing Dying Light 2 on sale.
19 games in the Steam library... I really need to stop but F1 23 launches on the 15th.
🤣
I'm posting the Forza video I just made in my racing thread... I'll tag you.
