CPU allocates pathways for the GPU, while the chipset manages connections for all other components.

Strictly, the setup won't provide full bandwidth across all cards at once. A more realistic outcome is "close enough" where noticeable differences are unlikely unless you perform specific tests and even then detection might be challenging.
