I'm facing a major PC issue that's making gaming nearly impossible. The system underperforms significantly, especially when playing Fortnite. Stutters and screen freezes occur even during normal gameplay. I've tried various fixes like DDU, updated drivers, and changed display settings, but the performance remains poor. My CPU utilization is low while the load is high, and I suspect RAM might be lagging behind. There are also artifacts on my screen, which adds to the problem. I'm unsure how to resolve this and would really appreciate any guidance or benchmarks that could help identify the root cause.

Verify your rams are operating correctly using the listed clock times by installing CPUZ and sharing the Memory section. Install 3dmark—it's a free benchmark—and execute it as well.

Fortnite 2024.01.30 - 22.47.30.02.DVR (1).mp4 shows minor stuttering, yet the overall performance is noticeably better than in the clips.

It's odd this was my setup back in 2020! No details on resolution, performance, frame rate, or system specs—just everything else. The 3900X isn't ideal for gaming but should handle Fortnite fine. Also, do servers and internet speed affect gameplay? Yes, they can slow things down.

It seems you're looking for guidance on checking performance metrics like max and 0.1% FPS. I can help with that. You'll need to use the game's built-in tools or settings menu to view these stats. If you encounter any issues, let me know so we can troubleshoot together. Also, your mention of stutters in SP games suggests a potential graphics or frame rate problem—consider optimizing settings or updating drivers. Tomorrow you can review everything in detail.

Set up MSIAfterburner for in-game statistics (OSD) and HWInfo64 for comprehensive tracking

You're using the game with either DX11 or DX12. The performance differences you noticed—stuttering on DX11 and smoothness on DX12—are common and can be influenced by hardware and settings. It might be related to your system configuration, but switching APIs could help identify the issue more clearly.

Consider shifting it to dx11 and dx12 to observe the changes.
