Could your power supply unit be the source of your problems?
Could your power supply unit be the source of your problems?
I recently purchased an RX 570 8GB Armor. With a CX 430, is overclocking possible? I've attempted it but the core clock actually decreases in benchmarks when I raise it in both Wattman and afterburner. What solutions can I try to resolve this? Thanks

That graphics card has a system requirement of 450 watts. So even when it was new, the power supply was under powered.
I would recommend switching it out for a 500 or 550 watt power supply. Then give overclocking a try.

The graphics card needs a system requirement of 450 watts. Even when it was brand new, the power supply wasn't sufficient. I suggest replacing it with a 500 or 550 watt power supply and giving overclocking a shot.
Thank you a lot. That was my final choice, though I didn't want to waste £60 just to check if it was my issue. I really had no other option.

Also, given the high prices in the UK, these options might be worth looking into as well.
