I’m looking for contemporary games with respectable visuals that don't require a high-end graphics card. My system includes an Intel Core i5 4590 Quad-Core processor running at 3.70 GHz with a boost up to 4.5 GHz, 8 GB of RAM at 1600 MHz, and an AMD Radeon HD 5450 with 2 GB of VRAM, which is hindering my PC’s performance. Could you suggest games that would run at medium-to-maximum settings at 720p or 1080p resolution, targeting a frame rate of approximately 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second?

To enhance your existing i5, you’ll likely require a graphics card with a moderate price range.

I’ve already purchased one—a GTX 1660ti. However, due to my current location in Egypt, delivery will take approximately a month. Consequently, I’m simply looking for something playable at the moment.

Your present hardware configuration is unlikely to smoothly handle contemporary games at a reasonable level.

A 6 GB VRAM GDDR5 graphics card should generally handle games adequately, wouldn’t you agree?

There’s a fundamental limitation to how this functions due to two primary factors. Firstly, standard system memory and graphics card memory cannot be substituted without significant performance degradation. Secondly, a 5450 operates at a remarkably slow pace regardless of its memory capacity—whether it has 1 GB, 4 GB, or even 400 GB—since memory size isn’t a determinant of processing ability; it's similar to judging vehicle speed based solely on the volume of fuel they hold.

Is that right? Regarding the games you’re considering, sellers anticipate a current graphics card and end there.

A basic cell-based game should run on a system with built-in graphics. Seriously, my A6 can play older computer games like Thief: The Dark Project much more effectively than my old Voodoo card did years ago. However, it can’t handle current games.

Could you verify that you understood the heading? I requested a compilation of contemporary games suitable for systems with an adequate processor, not an assessment of your graphics card’s performance.
