If there was a virtual reality setup that truly felt real, people could move and interact naturally, experiencing full immersion. Would they be interested in such a high level of realism? Imagine feeling pain or touch within the game—would that make them want it? A highly realistic experience, like a lifelike holodeck from Star Trek, could you play games like Black Ops there? The main question is whether the average person would desire that kind of realism.

Well then, if a few of those holograms wanted to take control of your ship, you'd need to act fast and think clearly.

It wasn't mentioned that it would be on a ship. That's a good observation.

I personally believe it would be enjoyable to try things like that.

It would definitely turn into a sex haven within roughly two minutes. I'm actually surprised that sex instruments for VR haven't come around yet.

It seems you're asking about a specific reference, but the context is unclear. Could you clarify what you mean by "the right spot" and "Oculus Dev Kit 1"? That way, I can provide a more accurate response.

My original comment remains unchanged.
Completely immersive VR means a huge number of sex rooms. Imagine Futurama where you can "purchase" celebrity skins to engage in sexual activity.
Of course, I’d definitely try it. Would everyone else too. It’s the ultimate escape. Isn’t that what most people want in games or online activities?

The main point is whether anyone would appreciate the realism of how you feel pain
