Could you find an alternative method to lower your GPU temperature?

Hello all. I started to OC yesterday and it's quite addicting but I didn't achieve great results.
Xfx 390x core edition (1060/1500 speeds)
I5 6600k (have not begun to OC this yet)
Supernova nex650g psu (a 750w g2 arrives tomorrow)
I was only able to get it to 1120/1600 with stable temps but there was artifacting. I supplied more juice from the psu and got it to 1150/1650 but it hit 91c degrees. I would like to hit 1200/1700. Is there a good way to do aftermarket cooling on xfx 390x that isn't water cooling? Sorry I'm new to all this. Thanks!

If the 390x resembles the 290x, it's safe to use that GPU up to approximately 95°C.

I think you're right, though I'd prefer not to. It happened after running it for just 5 minutes in Unigine Valley. I want to keep the height under 85, which is what I'm currently hitting at 1120/1600.

Without water cooling, you might not reach a high operating temperature without a high heat. There are AIO water cooling options if you have room to install everything, making it simpler and more affordable than a complete water-cooling system.

Perhaps I'll choose the side of the tower and blow a fan at it. Lol. No, I won't do that. I was really aiming for a higher OC though. Dark Souls 3 occasionally drops below 60fps and Fallout 4 does the same.

you can just be careful, ensure good lighting and avoid getting dirt on memory thermal pads. cleaning old paste can be a challenge, but there are YouTube videos to help. however, doing this might void your warranty. my device dropped 10°C during startup with GC Extreme, so you'll need to reapply the paste more frequently as it dries faster (i apply it about once a year).

I disassembled my GPU and the paste appeared poor quality. I upgraded to better materials. Running diagnostics with Unigine and temperatures improved slightly, but artifacts persist at 1140mhz even with +60 core voltage. The temperature is marginally higher, but I haven't managed to exceed 1120, which is just a 60mhz rise.
🙁 Should I increase the voltage further?
