Hello everyone! Here are the details of my PC setup: · Core i5-13400F (stock) · Arctic Cooling i35 · 2 x 16 GB DDR5 Kingston Fury Beast (XMP1-5200 CL40) · SSD1: 1TB WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe · SSD2: 480GB Kingston A400 · ASUS TUF Gaming B760-Plus Wifi · PNY GeForce GTX 1660 XLR8 · Gigabyte UD750GM PG5 750W ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 · Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x64 I’ve heard reports about Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen unlocked processors facing problems with certain games, especially crashes during shader compilation. I understand this isn’t my case since I have a locked i5, but I know these issues often stem from default BIOS settings that restrict CPU voltage and power limits. My BIOS has APE 3.0 enabled by default, and Asus advises against it to follow Intel guidelines. After disabling it, the ICCmax stays at 500A, which seems too high. The concern is whether changing it could damage my CPU long-term. I’ve attached some BIOS screenshots for reference. Thanks in advance!

It doesn't matter with the power constraints (which you can't alter), but this advice only matters when dealing with issues because it would hurt performance noticeably.

APE activated, power settings updated to 253W-PL1, 4095W-PL2. Limit now includes a 96-second Tau threshold and 511.75A capacity. Are you confirming this is safe as long as temperature stays within bounds?

As long as you stay under the 100°C limit, it's fine. You could even use it all day, and it will slow down if it gets too hot.
