Hey there! Let's tackle this together. I built my perfect rig about a year ago with a fully water-cooled setup, including a distro plate in the 11xl case. I'm going to share all the details right now.
My build includes:
- Evga EV3 3 3090 Ti Asus Z690 Hero Maxiumuss G Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6400 RAM
- Evga Supernova 1600W power supply
- Multiple M.2 SSDs
- Intel 12900K CPU
- Motherboard swap (same model, no recall issues)
The problem started recently: my internet connection keeps dropping randomly. I tried driver updates, new cables, and changed router ports, but nothing worked. Now I’m experiencing random monitor blackouts while playing Diablo 4. This is really frustrating because everything worked fine for almost a year after installation. I've updated drivers, BIOS, and Windows without any changes.
Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks!
Sincerely, a passionate PC builder in need of advice.
The issue with internet access usually lies outside your home. Your port might work fine if it’s the only device connected to your network. Do you have any free PCIe slots? For around $8 or less, you can buy a network card that fully replaces your port. If THAT isn’t enough, the problem isn’t with the port itself—because you’re using a different one. It’s more affordable than the testing equipment you’d need. Unless you really require a higher speed port, then it can become quite costly. A 1 gigabit Ethernet connection is typically more than enough for internet use.
Only with Diablo 4? Could be a Diablo issue. Quick question—do you get blackouts like a black screen, then it works again briefly until another blackout?
Usually it turns black for a short time then restarts. Could be a glitch, but it looks like only I’m experiencing this with my friends.
Adjust settings to avoid HDR when g-sync is active. It seems the monitor sometimes cuts out during sync. On a watercooled setup I get a 1Gbit USB NIC working fine without any changes. It's a great build overall. It's odd I use the same TT TF2 flow meter and only power it up—it behaves similarly to others. The case you use should be purchased separately. I have a second temperature sensor in the loop so I can monitor temps and tweak fan curves. I opted for a third radiator instead of doing a distroplate. It's tough aligning two GPUs when they don<|pad|>, especially with dual-GPU support. I own a TT AH T600 case. I couldn't locate the drain port for your system—do you have one? The top panel is an EK Quantum surface, but it's unclear if it's a X360 or P360. If it were at the bottom, I'd drill a hole in the back and use the opposite port as the drain.
