The video demonstrated playing on various servers by copying the game from the Steam folder. It suggested removing the connection to Steam or legitimate servers and simply logging out to exit.

I never denied it. No point pretending otherwise.

He really hopes the VAC gets banned since it doesn’t belong. He bought the game and feels free to do whatever he likes with it.

It seems you're referring to a situation where using modified versions of games on servers protected by VAC can result in bans. The rules likely depend on whether the server allows modifications. I'm sure Team Fortress 2 follows similar guidelines, and other games with VAC work in a comparable way. He obtained a license to play but isn't fully unrestricted.

I’m free to do whatever you want. That doesn’t imply I ever admitted he purchased the game or acted that way. You probably don’t have to change anything in the game like cod.

Steam seems really annoying. And when you purchase a disk, it doesn’t matter. Everyone seems indifferent about piracy. Only Valve titles have VAC, right? If a game is cracked, it won’t work with Steam. You can’t even access official servers with broken games.

Are you asking about a game similar to 'Cod'? You seem focused on cod specifically. If you own Steam but need dedicated servers like Repz offers, just switch to Repz.

Since there are numerous titles—like Skyrim, Oblivion, Dark Souls, Fallout—each with its own scope—I can focus on what matters without overlap. It's straightforward.

I'm making a mistake by purchasing from Steam, but I still enjoy it. There are many games over 100 that use VAC, not just Valve titles. Still, VAC is typically reserved for official servers, which means it probably won't affect private servers.

He seeks dedicated servers. He breaks his own legitimate copy of MW2. He interacts with players who cracked the game. Not those who bought it and are playing on genuine servers. Even if someone cracked the game but played with non-crackers, no one would be impacted. Got it?
