I am still getting accustomed to PC building and learning as I go. I want to thank everyone ahead of time for their assistance and knowledge. This is my second PC build (rebuild). After trying all online recommendations, adjusting graphics settings to low, and updating or reinstalling drivers, I realized there might be a hardware problem with my first PC. I was using an MSI B450 MOB, Radeon RX 570 GPU, and a 256 GB HP M.2 drive. Recently, I found myself in a financial position to upgrade to the current setup. I was almost certain the issue was with the old, outdated Radeon RX 570, but it wasn’t that simple—the gaming problems persisted. I’m tired and just want to enjoy gaming with my friends.

All online fps shooter games are mostly dependent on your CPU. Based on my experience, I believe you need a more powerful CPU for some titles, like Warzone. The lag I noticed seems to come from either your internet connection or your CPU. That’s my assumption.

How are your CPU and GPU temperatures when idle and during gaming?
Did you perform a clean Windows installation after the new motherboard?
Do you have the latest BIOS, chipset drivers, and Windows updates?
Run userbenchmark and share the results here.

Thank you for your prompt response.
I have eliminated the internet connection issue since Apex is operating smoothly on my older PS4.
I performed a fresh Windows installation on the new motherboard and updated all drivers and system software.
Idle Temperatures:
CPU - 32°C
GPU - 40°C
Cinebench R23 benchmark: 9786 score (multi-core)
Temp - 66°C
Peak Speed - 3.875 GHz
UNIGINE Superposition 1080p High benchmark: 11236 score (significantly lower than other 3060 models)
Min FPS - 68
Max FPS - 112
Average FPS - 84
GPU max temperature - 76°C
GPU usage - 99%
Please let me know if you need further details.

so you are using display - port from GPU to screen there is no stuttering on video as far as I can see also you are up too date with drivers for the motherboard with asus "armoury crate" click cog and drivers.

I was inquiring about UserBenchmark, which assists in spotting problems. It's advisable to execute it after restarting the computer and allowing it to idle for 5 minutes, ensuring all other programs are closed. Your CPU should reach up to 4.3GHz, but the 3.875GHz reading seems off—something might be amiss. Look into your system for malware using Malwarebytes.

I see the issue, but I can't access external links. Let me know if you need help with something else.

I'll try it out after checking the benchmark. Do you think switching to something like a Ryzen 5 5600x would help? Thanks a lot.

Variations in results can range from 10 to 30 percent depending on the game.
