Hello, I'm experiencing difficulty with the ASMedia 3.1 Extensible Host Controller driver. Could you please advise on how to install the newest version? I’ve attempted to do so, but it hasn't been successful.

Could you provide additional details regarding your setup? Specifically, what motherboard are you using? Is it an Asus model?

What operating system version are you utilizing?

The software should function correctly within Windows because there are no available drivers. Would updating your BIOS and the Intel Management Engine Interface to the newest versions potentially resolve this issue?

Could you describe the specific error message you are encountering?

I have attempted to refresh my BIOS settings, but the error message “device update needed” was encountered on January 30th, 2019. My apologies for my English – it is not my native tongue. 😄

Have you installed the latest chipset driver? You can find this on your motherboard manufacturer's website; installing it may resolve the issue.

From what source did you attempt to reinstall the graphics card driver?

Regarding this issue, are you experiencing it with every device connected to power, or only certain ones? I’m wondering if the problem lies with the connection itself rather than the motherboard.

Where is this error appearing? Could you provide screenshots so we can examine them? (Please upload these images to an image-sharing site and share the link here.)
