Hey, I've been considering overclocking lately. The main issue is that I'm using what's described as a mediocre power supply (Corsair VS550) and a stock cooler, which I plan to upgrade soon. I'm aiming for 4ghz. Do you think I can handle it? FX-6350 reaches 3.9ghz with a stock cooler, so I'm wondering if my current setup will work. Please tell me if I'm mistaken.

Not really a good PSU. That's exactly what it is. You might want a better cooler and increase the multiplier slightly without changing the voltage. Otherwise, raising the voltage could cause too much power draw.

Do you think it's worth risking your system for a tiny improvement?
You won't feel the impact of that change.
Invest in a better cooler, upgrade your PSU, wait until you have both, then try to overclock.
