Check your specs to see if your RAM is causing performance issues. You're considering Corsair's Vengeance PRO RGB Black or Newegg's 16GB DDR4 SDRAM, but you're curious about the impact on FPS when matched with a slower AMD processor.

It seems to move at a slower pace. However, the main issue appears to be relying on just one channel.

I believe thinking too slowly isn't entirely true. It's completely okay. Switching to faster RAM could boost your performance by a few frames (1-4) in certain games, though it's probably not essential.

The GSKill version will run a bit quicker, though the difference isn't significant. I'm hoping you're replacing the existing RAM.

It might not significantly increase FPS, possibly just adding a couple of frames.

Your current RAM might be restricting your performance, especially if you're aiming for higher frame rates.

Using just one channel won’t necessarily reduce your FPS; it depends on how the game handles the limited data.

For CS-Go, switching to 2x8 3600C18 or 3200C16 can increase your frames by 20-30%, especially with a 2080s setup.
