It seems AM5 could be consuming more power, possibly due to improved cache efficiency or a smaller form factor making it easier to manage. This remains just an assumption.
It would probably not exceed a higher temperature since the restriction comes from heat transfer, not the cooler directly. You'd be increasing the surface area for cooling, which usually keeps things stable (or lowers them). Clearly, it would run at a lower frequency like 5800X3D as well.
