Hi there, welcome to the community! I’m a bit new here and didn’t realize I posted in the wrong area.
Most people probably know about a game called FIVEM (GTA 5 ROLEPLAY).
When I was playing on a server, my PC averaged around 30-45 fps, but a friend with similar specs was getting 60-70 fps.
Do you know what might be happening?

My setup:
- Ryzen 5 1600
- GTX 1060 6GB
- 8GB DDR4 at 2400mhz
- 120gb SSD
- Another 240gb SSD (already has FIVEM and GTA 5 installed)

My friend’s setup:
- Ryzen 5 1600x
- GTX 1060 6GB
- 16GB DDR4 at 2666mhz
- 240GB SSD

Anyone else notice similar differences?

Verify memory consumption. GtaV mods frequently require more RAM, and when you run out, the game's performance may decline.

I recommend starting with monitoring tools such as Msi afterburner and rtss to track CPU, GPU, and memory usage and temperatures. Then observe what's happening. Like @jaslion, they think it might be related to memory usage.

They offer quicker performance and greater RAM capacity. With Ryzen this is definitely something worth mentioning.

But i wonder if it really creates a noticeable impact? I can picture around 5-10 frames per second, but anything higher might indicate an issue.

Do you believe you can manage the higher frame rate with an additional 4GB of RAM?
