My connection is an NBN FTTC. Previously, I had a Telstra cable with speeds around 110/5 and no latency problems, but it was switched to NBN.

Visited Tp-Link support today to check for a CPU monitor on my router. The representative seemed confused and deviated from the topic instead of addressing my question. We discovered the firmware isn’t the latest, which is unexpected since the auto-update feature and button aren’t functioning. After updating, I gained access to a QOS option and a firmware that might fix some problems. I’ll need to confirm if the latency issue persists. It feels like I’m jotting down notes, but that’s fine.

Reviewed my network usage and confirmed your observations. The streaming device was consuming a lot of upload data. I've configured QoS on both the streaming box and my PC, yet latency and buffering persist on speedtest.net and dslreport. Could this be due to improper setup? I’d like to restrict the streaming box’s bandwidth to a specific download and upload limit, but it doesn’t appear to be effective.

Try configuring the limit to 1Mbps and observe the results, otherwise consider proceeding without it. Let me know if you'd like further adjustments.
