When I run certain games on my PC, hot air escapes from the PSU during operation. On my laptop, hot air tends to come out consistently, though it doesn’t cause any damage. Does this pattern happen with your PC as well?

To get hot air out of the PSU is the way to cool it down. Games need more power, which will lead to more heat.
