I'm not very familiar with this, so I hope you can assist me. My details are:
Graphics card – Amd r9 270x
Motherboard – Hi-Fi H87S3+
Processor – i3-4160 CPU @ 3.60GHz (4CPUs)
RAM – 8GB
I mainly use my PC for online gaming. My question is whether it's worth upgrading from my current processor to i5-4690. Would the i5-4690 cause any bottlenecks with my existing setup? Should I notice any changes in performance after the change? Or should I consider upgrading my graphics card? Thank you for your help.

I'm not an expert, but I'm assembling a system with a 4690K and would suggest using the Z97 chipset instead of your current H87 boards.
You might prefer it for future upgrades, such as moving to a 5960X later.
Also, what games do you enjoy? The 4690 is a solid processor and could significantly improve performance in certain titles.
Good luck!

Thank you for the reply man.
😀
I usually play CSGO, DOTA 2, and World of Warcraft, so I realized most of those games rely on CPU power.
Also, are you absolutely certain you’d have to upgrade your motherboard?
