Hi all
I'm using a 3rd gen i3 3240 dual core processor @2.90ghz. Can I overclock my CPU without modifying my cooling setup? I only have the standard single fan cooling. If yes, how much can I push it?

With a Z77 motherboard, it's possible to perform a minor base clock overclock. You'd need to stress test and monitor temperatures to ensure they remain within acceptable ranges.
