This configuration functioned properly for a short period before I altered the memory module. After that change, turning on the machine produced no display output or sounds. All other components operated normally—motherboard LEDs lit, fans spun, and the graphics card was active. I examined the debug LED indicators, which cycled through states after each check, except the final one from top to bottom, which suggested a boot failure according to the manual. Have others encountered similar problems with this board? Any advice on resolving it, besides using the MSI X470 gaming plus board? I also have a Ryzen 7 1700 processor, a 2x Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 8GB RAM, an M.2 SSD with 240GB, a 2TB HDD via SATA 4, and a Radeon RX 550 graphics card. The issue persisted even after clearing the CMOS.
It might indicate a drive malfunction. Consider removing the SSD and attempting to access the BIOS settings.
Updated; I connected just the HD without an SSD and after a few restarts, the screen displayed a message indicating no boot drive was found—OS is installed on the SSD. When I reinstalled the SSD again, all the LEDs in the ez-debug remained off, yet the display showed nothing.
You're facing an issue accessing the BIOS despite having the HDD connected.
I access the BIOS, then restart multiple times and reset the CMOS, finally getting the PC to boot and run Windows briefly before it becomes extremely sluggish and stops working.
