Hey, your PC has been running well for a while with that Nvidia GTX 1070 and i5 6500. Recently you started playing Modern Warfare and noticed huge FPS drops to zero, even at low settings. It’s frustrating since your monitor isn’t great either. You’re unsure what might be causing the problem—could it be the GPU, CPU, or something else? I’m here to help you figure it out.

Update the motherboard BIOS, experiment with various GPU drivers, reinstall Windows. Consider switching to another hard drive or SSD—maybe it’s not necessary. At least an R5 3600 is affordable. Your i5 should remain capable of around 60fps.
