Hey! So here’s the short version: I completely overhauled my PC, swapping everything from 12.6GHz + 2060 MHz + 16GB 3200MHz to a new setup with 14.9GHz + 4070 Ti Super + 64GB 3200MHz. The only parts left from the old machine are two M.2 drives, one HDD, and a SATA SSD. The specs on the new board are: MBD Z690, DDR4 1600, Wi-Fi enabled. Power supply is an 850W ADATA XPG CORE Reactor 80+ Gold. RAM is Kingston Fury Beast 2x32GB at 3200MHz. CPU is an i9-14900K, GPU is a 4070 Ti Super, and the OS is Windows 11 64-bit.

I installed these up in two phases—first the GPU, PSU, and RAM separately, then added the CPU and AIO (ROG RYUO III) later. At the time, I was using the older 12.6GHz with 4070 Ti Super and noticed some performance drops, especially stutters and low frames. After switching to the new parts, the problem worsened. I started seeing frame rate drops as low as 10ms or even 50ms, which really affected games like CS:GO, Little Nightmares 2, and Cyberpunk. The spikes can be anywhere from 10ms to 50ms, happening roughly once a minute. League of Legends is particularly tough for me.

I’ve tried almost everything online—BIOS updates, adjusting settings, disabling RGB lighting, changing RAM limits, tweaking power management, and even testing with different monitors. I also looked into hardware swaps and stress tests, but nothing seemed to fix it. Some things like the PSU and cooling didn’t help much. I even used a different monitor that only supported Freesync, which made things worse.

I’ve also checked logs and monitoring tools, but nothing stands out as the main culprit. It’s frustrating because I spent a lot on this build only to have such issues. If you want, I can share some screenshots of the frame rate graphs—I’d appreciate it. Still, I’m hoping for a fix so I can finally enjoy my PC without these headaches.

That’s all for now! Let me know if you need more details.

It might just be me, but it sounds correct.

I mean, from what I can see in benchmarks and other functioning PCS (even my own just three weeks ago), stuff like this doesn't happen at all. Like not a single stutter in hours and hours of gaming. The fact that I can just open a game, set a 50s recording and get a +40ms frametime spike/stutter doesn't feel right for a brand new, high-end pc But yeah, I'm mainly asking for help cuz I need this PC for my job and the stutters are showing in some recordings I need to provide
