Have a look at your experience playing GTA V Online. It seems confusing for newcomers. You mentioned joining a server without any other players, and seeing messages about missing or dead players without seeing anyone else. The missions you received felt repetitive and unengaging. You’re interested in exploring freely with others, building a home, but aren’t sure how the online system works or where your server is. Seeking guidance on navigating this setup would be helpful.

There’s no server list—it appears everything is random unless you click "Join friends." To join, you need to complete that mission.

If you buy a property on a server and are suddenly moved to another one, you’ll keep your ownership unless the system locks you out. To connect with others, look for public chat channels or community groups where players gather.

It seems you're asking about a situation where someone was unexpectedly moved to a different scenario. If purchasing a property keeps it in place unless sold, it suggests ownership or a contractual agreement. The reference to completing a drug mission implies a task or challenge related to substance use. Let me know if you'd like further clarification!

I enjoy a bit of GTAO, but when playing with friends I truly wish Rockstar wouldn’t neglect single-player features. Unless you’re gaming GTAO with others, it can feel quite disappointing.

This game feels okay soloing with random choices, but it's exciting with friends.

The game can sometimes behave unpredictably, like joining a server with many players and then losing everyone unexpectedly due to connection problems. To join, go to the menu, choose 'invite' or 'join friends,' select friends who are playing GTA, and you should be able to start the mission. The pop-up messages you see are from other players on different lobbies, who send invites randomly. If you purchase an apartment, it remains saved even if you switch servers. The next day, when you return, your apartment will still be there.

The servers update your character across all platforms. Purchasing a home on one server makes it appear everywhere, the same for vehicles and gear. You might join servers solo—just press esc, select online, and create a fresh session.
