Your current setup uses a Ryzen 3 1300X with 2666MHz RAM, while the new CPU claims support for 3200MHz RAM. The RAM speed you have won’t match the new CPU’s requirements, so it won’t run smoothly. You can’t upgrade to the 32GB 3200MHz RAM at this time without a more powerful motherboard or a compatible upgrade path. It would be wise to save up for the right components before making changes.

Uncertain about the 3700X reference, though many suggest it works well; it doesn’t affect functionality if you’re not using a budget CPU. You might boost speed by upgrading your existing RAM, especially if you didn’t opt for an A320 board.

Yes, you're allowed to upgrade. What model are you currently using?

Thanks for the responses. I’m moving to a Ryzen 5 3600X and boosting my RAM to 16GB at 3200MHz. This was always a cost-effective setup. My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix B350-f, gaming style. Appreciate everyone!
