The response indicates that there are many possibilities beyond what a console offers. Even if PCs were pricier, I wouldn't give them up entirely, though I might opt for a console mainly for exclusive titles.

It wouldn't be thought about unless the console could also rely on a keyboard and mouse. That's the biggest concern for me.

It's true that consoles simplify gameplay, unlike PC gaming where compatibility issues can be frustrating. With a console you get: 1. Purchase the game 2. Insert it into the console 3. Enjoy the game without worries. But would people be willing to pay around £1000 for such a device? Only if the price stayed close to £350-£400.

It wasn't the shows that held me back from consoles, but the absence of freedom. I enjoy modifying video games, and the adaptability of a PC always surpasses the restrictive nature of closed gaming systems.
