I favor PC because I can use two monitors, enjoy modding, avoid online costs, play games affordably, watch anime and play games, chat with friends effortlessly, and rely on keyboard and mouse. It also supports backward compatibility and emulators. The main advantage is the satisfaction of building something myself—something a console never could offer.

Because I've never controlled a fast-paced game without using a keyboard and mouse, and I don't like being restricted or tied up.

Because I can't use controllers—it's a nightmare, especially in FPS games. It's hard to picture people playing shooters without a mouse.

I wouldn't trade my PC for anything. While gaming isn't my top priority, it's used for a wide range of purposes beyond just playing games.

I’d choose the PC path. A multi-monitor setup feels great, and getting cheaper games on Steam is way more affordable than paying over £50 each time I need a new title. Dual booting offers real flexibility, letting me upgrade hardware whenever I want to keep up with technology instead of being stuck with a console that starts lagging after a couple years.

It wouldn't work. I'd stick to playing only Pokémon Silver on a Game Boy Color before moving on to another system.

it's fun to hear people complain about not being able to use kb/m, but you can still do it.

I experienced a period focused solely on console gaming (PS2 era), during which I didn’t discuss performance much. My old PC was sufficient for internet tasks, so I was comfortable with that setup. One day I stumbled upon MMOs, and that changed everything. Since then, I haven’t purchased another console, even though I’ve been burned by MMO games years ago. My main motivation to buy back would be exclusive titles, not better performance. Also, using a keyboard and mouse is perfectly fine on consoles—many COD players do it with kb/m and don’t mind it. It’s a bit disappointing because it feels like cheating, but overall it’s quite amusing.
