It often returns to white again (this also happens to me). A quicker method without logging out is to switch the region, end Cortana in Task Manager, then switch back to the original region. After that, type in the search bar and Cortana should appear normally again.

Are you experiencing an issue with white? I believe everyone is treated equally.

You noticed a similar problem after viewing the WAN segment, and a solution involved moving the computer to another location and switching back. However, the issue resurfaces upon restarting. Trying Windows dark mode might help.

I really didn’t catch the latest WAN broadcast. I followed the region fix suggested by Tsuki, which corrected the color but caused Cortana to stop working this morning. I restarted her and the white color is back—just like you mentioned, I’m still using the dark theme until Windows gets better.

It doesn’t really concern me anymore since I switched to a winter wallpaper. If I were still on XP Bliss, I’d stick with it. I’m not sure exactly what changed—I’ve turned off the Windows updates.

It seems odd they must be inserting things discreetly, especially with the automatic background updates that seem suspicious. The layout feels disjointed and bothers me.

Sure, I'm happy you've made the switch to Mac. It seems like Microsoft might be encouraging us to use Cortana more. I'm curious—would turning it off make a noticeable change?

It wouldn’t be surprising if Microsoft suddenly began acting however they please, since I can still run 7 on my desktop—it’s amazing!

I believe XP was the top choice, with 7 stepping in as the successor. Windows 7 represented their final major release.
