Hello, I just set up my costum PC and have some questions on my profile. Regarding the issue, I have 32gb Corsair Vengeance pro DDR3 2400mhz but it's running at 1600mhz.
1. How can I increase it to 2400mhz?
2. If I do that, will it generate more heat and affect the lifespan of the RAM?
Thanks!

Go into your bios (press either f2 or del on your keyboard) and verify the mhz your ram is set at. If it's auto, adjust it to 2400mhz ddr3 and save without overclocking. If that doesn't resolve the issue, contact the manufacturer for guidance. If it's a defect, they'll send you a replacement ram package. Lastly, review the specifications for your motherboard and cpu to ensure your ram is within the allowed limits.
